Error Message

When attempting to log in to the ArcGIS Business Analyst web app, the login fails and returns the following error:

Your account does not have a Business Analyst Web App license assigned. Please contact your ArcGIS administrator to assign a license to your username.

Cause

The account used to log in is not assigned a license for ArcGIS Business Analyst.

Note:
ArcGIS Business Analyst is a web app designed for use with ArcGIS Online. This product differs from the Business Analyst extension used in ArcGIS Pro.

Solution or Workaround

To resolve, assign an ArcGIS Business Analyst license to the account in ArcGIS Online.

1. Log in to ArcGIS Online as an administrator.
2. Navigate to Organization > Licenses > Add-on licenses.

3. Scroll to the Applications drop-down list.
4. Click Manage under ArcGIS Business Analyst Web and Mobile Apps.

5. In the Manage: ArcGIS Business Analyst Web and Mobile Apps window, enter the name of the account to assign the ArcGIS Business Analyst license to in the Search members field.
6. Beside the account name, toggle the license on to activate the ArcGIS Business Analyst license assignment.
