Run-time error '-2147024882(8007000e)': Out of memory

Error Message

When projecting a shapefile using the ArcView Projection Utility as an extension, clicking the Finish button on the Summary dialog box returns the error:

"Run-time error '-2147024882(8007000e)': Out of memory"

Cause

This is a known issue with the Projection Utility on XP.

Solution or Workaround

• Install the ArcView 3.x Windows XP Patch from the web link provided in the Related Information section.
• Run the ArcView Projection Utility by clicking Start > Programs > ESRI > ArcView 3.x > Projection Utility.
