Error Message

When installing the Web Applications or Web Application Developer Framework features of ArcGIS Server for the Microsoft .Net Framework 9.3 on a machine with Visual Studio 2008 Team Test edition, the software install fails with the following error:

"An unhandled exception ('System.IO.IOException') occurred in CodeConverterUtil.exe [3656]"

Cause

Visual Studio 2008 Team Test edition is not a supported development environment.

Solution or Workaround

Visual Studio 2008 Professional and Standard editions are supported development environments.
