Description
Opening Desktop Help from ArcMap causes ArcMap to crash.
Cause
The ArcMap and Help processes are hung.
Solution or Workaround
Check the Task Manager. If the ArcMap application is still running, end task and reboot.
To use the Desktop Help, start it before ArcMap from Start > Programs > ArcGIS > Desktop Help. Then start ArcMap.
