Introduction
ESRI announces the CAD Client for ArcSDE 9.1 Service Pack 1. This Service Pack
introduces support for the AutoCAD 2005 and AutoCAD 2006 programs. This Service
Pack contains a complete setup for these two CAD programs.
This Service Pack also provides complete setups for the other supported CAD programs. These are:
AutoCAD Release 14
AutoCAD 2000
AutoCAD 2002
AutoCAD 2004
MicroStation 95
MicroStation SE
MicroStation/J
MicroStation V8
NOTE: This service pack is only for users who want to run CAD Client with
AutoCAD 2005 and AutoCAD 2006. However this Service Pack can be used to install
CAD Client for any of the supported CAD programs listed above.
Installing this Service Pack
In order to install this Service Pack, AutoCAD 2005 and/or AutoCAD 2006 must
be installed and configured.
- Close AutoCAD 2005 or AutoCAD 2006.
- Download ArcSDECADClient91SP1.exe
(8MB) to a location other than your CAD Client destination location.
- Double-click the setup file to start the install process. The executable
will self-extract to an ArcSDE folder that will be created in your User TEMP
directory (for example: C:\Documents and Settings\user1234\Local Settings\Temp\ArcSDE).
- When the Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
NOTE: If there is another version of CAD Client already installed on your
computer, the installation will not proceed. You will need to remove the existing
CAD Client version by using the Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel prior
to installing this Service Pack.
