  • ArcSDE 9.2 SP 6 SQL Server 2000 Permissions Patch
    June 29, 2009 - PATCH
    This patch resolves an issue introduced at 9.2 SP6 by installing the Connection Performance and Geodatabase Repair Patch, or any subsequent patches. SQL Server 2000 users in the sysadmin, db_owner or db_datareader roles can see all data in the database. At 9.2 SP6, this permission is no longer honored by ArcSDE. When connecting, users no longer see any data unless owned by them. We recommend all SQL Server 2000 users download and install this Patch to resolve this issue.

    ArcGIS or ArcIMS 9.2 clients that have been updated to service pack (SP) 5 or higher can install the ArcGIS 9.3.1 GDB Direct Connect for 9.2 Clients. This will enable these clients to make direct connections to ArcSDE 9.3.1 geodatabases.
  • ArcSDE 9.2 Service Pack 6 Compress with Concurrent Editors Patch

    This patch fixes two issues associated with compressing a geodatabase while users are in the process of making versioned edits to data in the geodatabase. ESRI recommends you apply this patch if you compress your geodatabase while any users are performing edits.

    This patch addresses cases where features containing parametric curves were inadvertently replaced with densified representations as a result of NIM037520. We recommend all who use a geodatabase topology in conjunction with features containing parametric curves and may have been affected by NIM037520, download and install this Patch at their earliest convenience to ensure the high highest quality experience when working with ArcGIS 9.2 Service Pack 6.
  • ArcSDE 9.2 Service Pack 6 Memory Allocation Patch
    February 9, 2009 - PATCH
    This patch is required for all 9.2 Service Pack 6 users. It fixes an issue with curves, a memory overwrite during archiving and a memory leak in ArcSDE for Oracle. It also fixes a separate memory leak and a compression bug in all DBMS implementations.

    May 2, 2008 - PATCH
    Spatial views with ArcSDE 9.2 Service Pack 5 do not work properly. Spatial views are created with the sdetable -o create_view command with the spatial column of the subject feature class included in the view definition. With ArcSDE 9.2 Service Pack 5, in conjunction with ArcGIS 9.2 and ArcIMS 9.2, features in a SDEBINARY or SDELOB feature class in the spatial view will not display when zooming. The features are still in the feature class, they just don’t display.
