A model is set of rules and procedures for representing a phenomenon or predicting an outcome. In geoprocessing, a model consists of one process or a sequence of processes connected together. It is created in a toolbox and built in a ModelBuilder window. A model can be exported to a script file. Models can be easily re-executed using different scenarios without having to re-create the model.
