Introduction

Esri® announces the ArcGIS 10.3 for Desktop Parcel Fabric General Maintenance Patch. This patch provides least squares adjustment performance improvements and fixes data corruption for certain edit workflows like creating parcel remainders, merging and joining. The patch also addresses issues of data corruption with certain edit workflows when projecting on the fly, and editing in a different projection than the parcel fabric dataset. The archiving option on enterprise databases was enhanced to allow fabric tables to be preserved when disabling archiving. The specific issues are listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

Issues Addressed with this patch

  • BUG-000089622- Parcels that contain line strings with curves move out of place when adjacent parcels are unjoined.

  • BUG-000088825- Parcel remainder tool creates gaps and over laps between parcels.

  • BUG-000086992 The parcel fabric least squares adjustment report gives incorrect values for range and standard deviation.

  • BUG-000086960 - When using parcel editor rejoin\join causes parcels points to disappear when data is stored in a different spatial reference.

  • BUG-000086959 - Using the Parcel Editor Merge Courses tool in certain circumstances incorrectly computes bearings on resulting parcels.

  • BUG-000086958 - Append Parcel Fabric geoprocessing tool does not honor selection when there are multiple Parcel layers.

  • BUG-000086011- When using parcel editor joining a parcel to the fabric where there are also unjoined parcels can cause data corruption.

  • BUG-000084601 - Second Join mode links to parcel fabric control points cause points to disappear from the map extent when the map is in a different projection than the fabric.

  • BUG-000084412 - When using Parcel Editor a fabric in a different projection than the dataframe the Split Line String tool inverses bearings on fabric lines using the data frame projection and creates a misclose value.

  • BUG-000084194 - Append Parcel Fabric geoprocessing tool crashes ArcMap and ArcCatalog on Windows 8.1.

  • BUG-000083959 - Using the Parcel Editor Remainder tool on parcels that contain circular arc curves the remainder parcels have incorrect chord bearing and distances.

  • BUG-000083812 - The Load a Topology to a Parcel Fabric geoprocessing tool does not calculate radial lines correctly when the input data is in a different projection than the target fabric.

  • BUG-000083063 - Appending a Cadastral XML gives an error when there is a vertical datum on the target fabric.

  • BUG-000082497 - Parcel fabric archive classes are deleted after selecting to preserve the tables in the geodatabase when disabling archiving.

  • BUG-000082806 - When using Parcel Editor the Stated Area field on fabric parcels is not being calculated properly if there is a curve greater than 180.

  • BUG-000081996 - When using parcel editor, the LSA (Least Squares Adjustment) dialog takes a while to open when adjusting a large dataset.

  • NIM104034 - Parcel fabric Lines not consuming Parcel Type properly when switching between templates.
