FAQ: Why is the Line of Sight Tool Disabled?

Answer

The Line Of Sight tool may be disabled if users are not sufficiently zoomed in. At a low pyramid level, the data is simplified for the display, and the most accurate data is not viewed. Therefore, by default, the Analysis tools are disabled to prevent analysis on pyramid levels, which are generalized versions of the data. To change the setting, navigate to the terrain’s Layer Properties menu > Analysis tab.
