Enable Quick Fields in ArcPad
Summary
Quick Fields can be used to auto-populate fields for data collection in ArcPad 10.2.
Procedure
In order to use the Quick Fields functionality, they must first be enabled for the ArcPad document. Enabling Quick Fields requires working in a saved ArcPad document, an .apm file.- Open ArcPad and add data layers. Data can be added using an .axf created project, an online feature service or a shapefile. Save the project as an .apm document.
- From the main toolbar, click on the Quick Fields icon to enable Quick Fields.

- This displays a dialog window asking for confirmation to Turn ON Quick Fields. Click Yes. Quick Fields can now be configured for the ArcPad document.
