The two files which determine the formatting for the Network Analyst Directions window are located in the following file location. These files are named 'directions.xml' and 'resources.xml'.
• 64-bit Operating System:
• 32-bit Operating System:
Use the reformatted XML files in the Related Information section below to display hours, minutes, and seconds for the directions.
There are separate files for ArcGIS 10.0. These are different than the files to be used with ArcGIS 10.1, 10.2, 10.2.1, 10.2.2 and 10.3.
• The 'directions.xml' file controls the threshold parameters. Changes made in the XML file below modify it to no longer use minute granularity.
• The 'resources.xml' file controls the display units. Changes made in the XML file below modify the formatting strings to display both minutes and seconds.
