A "...resource not found" image is displayed in the OverviewMap control in an ArcGIS Server .NET Web mapping application

Description

When the OverviewMap control StaticMode is set to 'False' and the ExpandPercentage property is set to NaN, a “�resource not found” image is displayed in the OverviewMap control in an ArcGIS Server .NET Web mapping application.

Cause

The OverviewMap Control is set to use an ArcIMS service as its map resource, and the ExpandPercentage property of the OverviewMap control is set to NaN (not a number) and the StaticMode is set to 'False'.

Solution or Workaround

• When setting the ExpandPercentage property of the OverviewMap control to NaN to keep a fixed extent, the map resource for the control must be an ArcGIS Server map service.
