Frequently asked question

What are the supported UML and XMI Exporter versions used to design and export geodatabase schemas?

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Answer

Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used in Visio and Rational Rose to create geodatabase design diagrams that can be exported to XML with an XMI Exporter, so that the schema can be imported into a geodatabase. The supported versions for UML are 1.3 and 1.4. The supported versions of the XMI Exporter are 1.0 and 1.1.
