Internal Error 2711. ArcGIS_92_Client

Error Message

When installing ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 Service Pack 2, the installer fails and displays the following error message:

"Internal Error 2711. ArcGIS_92_Client"

Cause

This error occurs when Service Pack 2 is installed on top of ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 with no service pack.

Solution or Workaround

Remove ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 and install ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 Service Pack 1. This is a separate installer that can be obtained by requesting an ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 Service Pack 1 DVD. After ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 Service Pack 1 is installed, ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 Service Pack 2 can be installed. See Related Information for link to ArcGIS Image Server 9.2 Service Pack 2.
