FAQ: How Can CAD Data Be Transformed in ArcMap 9.2 since the Transformation Tab is Gone?

Answer

The Transformation process for CAD data, DWG and DXF from AutoCAD, and DGN from Microstation, has been moved to the Georeferencing ToolBar in ArcMap.

Note:
The Transformation tab in the Layer Properties dialog box for CAD data is restored in ArcMap at version 9.2 with Service Pack 6. See the link under the Related Information below for the download location if SP6 for 9.2 has not yet been installed on your computer.
