When installing ArcPad on a Windows Mobile device, the installation on the mobile device fails and displays the following error message:
"Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be modified because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate."
The dialog box is dismissible, but ArcPad is not installed to the device.
Microsoft ActiveSync does not recognize the mobile device or the application being installed to the mobile device.
Reinstall ArcPad to the mobile device after performing the following steps.
