.NET web mapping applications in 9.2 don't work correctly with Internet Explorer 7

Description

When using Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 to view Web applications created with ArcGIS Server Manager 9.2 or the Web mapping application template inside of Visual Studio 2005, the map disappears from the page, for example, when opening the magnifier window.

Cause

This is a known issue and has been addressed in ArcGIS Server 9.2 Service Pack 1.

Solution or Workaround

• Download and install ArcGIS 9.2 Service Pack 1. See the link in the Related Information section below.
• For existing Web applications created in version 9.2, download and install the ArcGIS Server Web Application Migration Utility to migrate applications to version 9.2 SP1. This utility is valid for both ArcIMS and ArcGIS Server. See the link the Related Information section below.
