Marker symbols export as black when exporting to PDF, EPS, AI and SVG at some resolutions

This issue is addressed with ArcGIS 9.1 Service Pack 2 (SP2)

At some export resolutions, marker symbols export as black when the ArcMap Export option 'Convert Marker Symbols to Polygons' is used. This problem affects PDF, EPS, AI, and SVG export formats.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Workaround
