Importing imagery into Stereo Analyst causes the TIFF file to be modified and the YCC JPEG compression is lost

When importing imagery into Stereo Analyst, the TIFF file is modified and the YCC JPEG compression is lost. The images are unable to display beyond 1:800. The image is attached to a Leica block file. When the block file is processed by SAFA, some information goes into the TIFF. When the TIFF tags are updated, the tag that indicates it has YCC JPEG compression is updated incorrectly. This causes the data to be read incorrectly.

Cause

This is a known issue.
