Change the name of a service or layer that you own

Summary

This article contains information on how to change the name of content that you own.

Note:
Names of ArcWeb services or layers cannot be changed.

Procedure

1. On the ArcWeb site, open the Content Library. If not already logged in, log in.
2. Use the filter boxes or keyword search to find the content to rename.
3. Click the title of the content to display its Summary page.
4. Select the Info tab.
5. At the bottom of the Info page, click the Edit Info button. A page appears where the name and other descriptive information about the service or layer are editable.
