Problems working with data created by the Data Interoperability Extension

Description

Data created by the Data Interoperability Extension may generate errors when performing simple query tasks in ArcMap.

Cause

There is currently a problem with the ability of the Data Interoperability Extension to validate output file names to avoid creating files with special characters in the name, such as those which contain spaces or begin with a number.
