Data disappears from the map view when tables are joined to shapefiles

Description

** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 3 (SP3) **

If a table was joined to a shapefile using the 'Keep only matching records' option, and a definition query was created using fields from both the table and the shapefile, then the data disappeared from the map view.

Cause



This is a known issue.
