Set up order in which parameters appear in the Model dialog box

Summary

Instructions provided describe how to specify the order input parameters appear in the Model dialog box that appears when double-clicking a Model in ArcToolbox and launching the Model.

Procedure

1. After the flow of the model is set up and its parameters are designated, open the Model > Model > Model Properties.
2. Click the Parameters tab.
3. Click the '+' button.
4. Select the necessary parameters from the list for setting up the order.
   
   

   Note:
   Hold the SHIFT key and click each item to select more than one.

   
   
5. After the desired parameters are selected, click the UP or DOWN arrow keys to move it up and down in the order listed.
6. Repeat, if desired, step 6 with other parameters.
7. Click OK.
8. Click Save.
9. Double-click on the Model from ArcToolbox to open up the Model dialog box. The order of the parameters shown here reflect the order the parameters were specified in the Model Properties.
