Can I view ERMapper ECW images on Solaris?

Answer

No. ERMapper ECW image is a custom raster format and to serve ECW images with ArcIMS on Windows requires the ECW Connector which is provided by ERMapper.

At this time there is no ECW connector available for use with ArcIMS on Solaris.

This is a known limit.
