After installing ArcGIS - ArcInfo 9.x the Coverage Tools are missing from ArcToolBox

Description

After installing ArcGIS - ArcInfo 9.x, the Coverage Tools Toolbox is missing from ArcToolBox.

Cause

The Coverage Tools toolbox is installed with ArcInfo Workstation and must be added to ArcToolBox manually.

Solution or Workaround

Note:
To add the Coverage Tools to ArcToolBox, ArcInfo Workstation must be installed on the computer, in addition to ArcGIS Desktop.

1. Right-click on the ArcToolBox icon at the top of the ArcToolBox display > Add Toolbox...
2. Navigate to arcgis\arcexe9x\toolboxes, select the Coverage Tools ToolBox, and click Open. When opening, the Coverage Tools Toolbox automatically installs. No reboot is necessary.
   
   

   Note:
   Using ArcGIS Desktop versions 9.2 and 9.3, the following step is required:
   
   After adding the Coverage Toolbox, right-click on ArcToolBox > Save Settings > To Default.
   
   This saves the Coverage Tools to ArcToolBox, so the toolset is available when ArcToolBox is reopened.
