Information provided describes how to convert a .dbf file to an INFO table using ArcMap.

Procedure

Choose one of the methods below.

Export the .dbf file

  1. Load the .dbf file into ArcMap.
  2. Right-click the .dbf file and select Open.
  3. Click the Options button and select Export.
  4. Browse to the location for the output. Within this browse window, change the file type to INFO.
  5. Click OK.

Use Arc Macro Language (AML)

Wrap an AML that calls the DBASEINFO command into a Python script and run it.
