Summary
Instructions provided describe how to create links to Web pages using the link element in the ArcToolbox Documentation Editor. The ArcToolbox documentation Editor allows for the inclusion of links. The Add Link button adds a link to a Web page, a desktop help system document, or any file based document.
Procedure
The Documentation Editor's link properties are completed as shown in the image below:
- Open the ArcToolbox Documentation Editor and click the Add Link button.
- In the path input box, enter the full Web site address from the Address Bar toolbar in the default browser (Links to Web addresses must include http:// to work successfully).
- In the Name input box, type the name description of the link as it should appear in the document.
