Auto Complete Polygon task fails to create a new feature

A new feature is not created when using the Auto Complete Polygon task to create a new feature adjacent to existing polygons.

Cause

The Auto Complete Polygon task uses only the features in the current visible extent.

Solution or Workaround

Pan or zoom in the map so that all polygons adjacent to the intended polygon are visible.
