Cannot view the attributes of an SDE layer with ArcGIS

Description

No records are returned when opening an attribute table in ArcMap or previewing an attribute table in ArcCatalog.

Cause

The Oracle database is out of temporary tablespace.

Note:
An error message may not be returned in ArcMap, ArcCatalog, or SDE, but an error message indicating the problem appears in the Oracle alert log.

Solution or Workaround
