FAQ: Why Can't the Markers Placed in the Map View Be Seen after Exporting to Shapefile?

Answer

This is a known MapStudio limitation. Temporary markers added with the 'Add/Delete Markers' button do not appear in the shapefile output format. Add markers to the map file using ArcGIS.
