Can not load file

Error Message

Starting the Data Extractor and loading a dataset from a network drive yields the following error:

"Can not load file

AProjectManagerImpl: setProject failed
Undefined error in line 130 of file aDETProjectManagerImpl.cpp".

Cause

The dataset was installed to run from the network, but the network drive is accessed from a Uniform Naming Convention (UNC) path; for example: \\ServerName\ShareName\. A mapped network path must be used instead; for example: X:\StreetMap Data.

Solution or Workaround

1. Place the dataset CD in a mapped CD-ROM drive or copy the contents of the CD to a mapped network path and run the dataset's setup again.
2. Select Modify in the Application Maintenance dialog box and click Next.
3. Click the drop-down list to the left of the dataset name and select 'Will be installed to run from network'.
4. Click Next twoce to complete the updated network installation.
