Why don't custom fonts appear in the map output file?

Answer

If the map output is a GIF, JPEG, or PNG file, the image is created on the MapStudio server. The server converts any unsupported fonts to Arial.

If the map output is EPS or PDF file, custom fonts do not appear in the map view. Custom fonts are included in the EPS or PDF file itself.
