Buffer not displayed when original feature not in extent

Description

When a buffer is drawn around a point, line or polygon feature and if that feature is not in visible extent, the buffer will not be displayed.

Cause

This is a known limit.

Solution or Workaround

For the buffer to be displayed, always set the visible extent to encompass the buffered feature.
