ESRI ArcToolbox Interfaces is not listed in Project References in Visual Basic

Description

The library with the caption 'ESRI ArcToolbox Interfaces' is not a choice in the list of the Project References in Visual Basic.

Cause

The type library is not registered during the installation of ArcGIS.

Solution or Workaround

• Start Visual Basic.
• Click on the Project Menu and select References.
• Click Browse.
• Navigate to ..\arcgis\arcexe82\Bin.
• Select ATInt.tlb.
  

  Note:
   This is the type library whose caption is 'ESRI ArcToolbox Interfaces'. By selecting the library, it will register. You need to do this only once.
