Uninstall Sun ONE (iPlanet) 6.0 web server on Windows

Summary

Instructions provided are for uninstalling the Sun ONE (iPlanet) 6.0 Web Server on Windows NT, 2000 and XP.

Procedure

1. Open the Services Panel.
   
2. Stop all ArcIMS services such as ArcIMS Tasker, Monitor and Application Server.
   
3. Stop the 'iWS <machinename>' service.
4. Stop 'iWS Administration Server' service.
5. Navigate to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
   
6. Remove 'iPlanet Web Server 6.0'.
7. At the iPlanet Uninstall screen, make sure 'iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise Edition' is checked, and click uninstall.
8. Open Windows Explorer.
9. Delete <drive>:\iPlanet if it is listed.
