ArcReader does not support hyperlink Macros

Description

ArcReader does not support hyperlink Marcos created in ArcMap and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Cause

The ArcReader Help system in topic "Exploring data on a map" incorrectly states that Marcos are a supported type of hyperlink. ArcReader does not support VBA macros. VBA is not included in the ArcReader application like ArcMap and ArcCatalog.

Solution or Workaround



There is no solution for supporting hyperlinks to VBA macros in ArcReader. ArcReader only supports hyperlinks to documents or URLs.
