Invalid input string

Error Message

After upgrading ArcInfo Workstation, the AML [DATEFORMAT] function in the TESTDATE.AML returns the error:

"Invalid input string"

Cause

The previous ArcInfo Workstation install was customized to deal with the operating system date time format in a particular way. That customization was lost upon upgrade.

Solution or Workaround

1. Open the newly installed %ARCHOME%/sysgen/getdate.fmt file.
2. Add the following information as the sixth line in the file.
   
   

   %Y-%m-%d,%H,%M,%S
