Problem: Maps print clipped after upgrading the Windows operating system
After the Windows operating system is changed or upgraded, some maps may print clipped.
A new version of the operating system may have new printer drivers with different margin settings and a different maximum printable area. This can cause the map layout created under the previous version of the OS to clip when printed.
Solution or Workaround
To resolve this, do one of the following:
Recreate the layout.
Scale the map page to the new printer paper size by using the "Scale map elements proportionally to changes in paper size" option Page Setup. This method will probably still require some minor changes to the map, but is the faster way.
