SE_LOG_ACCESS (-44) The caller does not have permission to access the specified logfile

Error Message

Executing the LAYERLOGFILE command returns the error:

"SE_LOG_ACCESS (-44) The caller does not have permission to access the specified logfile"

Cause

A path was specified in the LAYERLOGFILE syntax. Beginning with the release of version 8.1, all logfiles are stored in tables within the DBMS, not in the $SDEHOME/logs directory.
