The ArcView Project window cuts off document names

Description

The first and last letters of document names are cut off in the Project window.

Cause

Your computer uses a custom font size that is too large.

Solution or Workaround

1. Right-click the Windows Desktop and select Properties.
2. Switch to the Settings tab.
3. Select either Small Fonts or Large Fonts from the Font Size dropdown list.
   
   

   Note:
   Custom font sizes larger than 125% cause display problems in ArcView. When you change the font size to anything larger than 125%, Windows displays the following message: "This font size setting may cause some programs to appear incorrectly."

   
   
4. Click the OK button on the Display Settings dialog box.
