Problem: Network trace stops at features with no weight feature attribute

Description

When performing a network trace using weight filters, the trace results stop at features that don't have an associated feature attribute for the weight being filtered; for example, orphan junctions.

Cause

In the context of weight filters, the value of 0 is reserved for network features that don't have a field associated with a weight.

Solution or Workaround

To include features in the trace that don't have an associated feature attribute for the weight being filtered, include 0 in the weight filter range. For example:

  • If the weight filter range is '3-11,' this means the trace will include those features whose weight values are between 3 and 11 inclusive. Features without an associated feature attribute for the weight will not be traced.
  • If the weight filter range is '3-11, 0,' this means the trace will include those features whose weight values are between 3 and 11 inclusive, as well as those features that don't have an associated feature attribute for the weight.
