How can I resize the browser when I'm using an ArcIMS Java Viewer?

Procedure

On Windows, the Java Viewer may not refresh properly if the browser is resized. This limitation is due to the Java Viewer's combination of an applet running in Web browser and using the Java Plug-in to maintain communication with the applet.

Due to a limitation with Netscape 4.x browsers, if you want to change the width and height parameters of the Java Standard Viewer on those browsers, the width figure must be a hard coded number (percentages only work for the height parameter); the applet will not resize the width when the browser is resized. Edit the viewer47.htm file to make these size changes for a Netscape browser.

On IBM AIX, the Java Standard Viewer cannot be resized, it is set to a fixed size.
