Error Message

This error occurs when clicking the Make Default button on the Customize dialog box:

Assertion: "Project has filename" failed at line 1581 of file"../appl/project.c"

Cause

Your system doesn't have the $HOME environment variable defined.

Solution or Workaround

Create a $HOME environment variable.

Note:
If ArcView cannot find a $HOME variable on your system, it will use the $TEMP variable instead.
