PROBLEM

REGIONPOLY creates an output coverage that does not have labels

Description

Using REGIONPOLY to convert a region coverage to a polygon coverage will result in an output coverage that does not have labels.

Cause

The input coverage does not have labels(possibly from a shapefile to coverage conversion), and an {out_table} is not specified.

Solution or Workaround

Use CREATELABELS, either before or after performing the REGIONPOLY command, to ensure that the output polygon coverage contains labels.
