Clipping data at a projection horizon doesn't always work

Description

Each projected coordinate system has a horizon, an area beyond which data isn't valid. At times, ArcMap does not clip geometries at the horizon's edge correctly. The clipping works correctly only the first time the coordinate system is used in a session.

Cause

This is a software limitation. The horizon and geometry domains are set incorrectly, which causes the intersection and difference results to be rejected.
