Raster selections are not retained after turning on and off

Description

After selecting rows in a raster attribute table, and turning the layer on and off, the selection is retained in the table but the display is not refreshed.

Cause

This is a known issue with ArcGIS 8.1.

Solution or Workaround

• Click the Refresh View button at the bottom of ArcMap's display.
• Right-click the layer in the Table of Contents and select Zoom to Layer.
