Rpcserver.start fails with the following error message on AIX 4.3.x.

Cause

The nofiles option is set to -1.

According to the IBM documentation, settings any of the
variables in /etc/security/limits to -1 can lead that variable to grow without a
limit. Unfortunately, setting the nofiles option to -1 causes the
rpcserver.start to produce the traceback error message.

Solution or Workaround

Set nofiles to 2000.
