Can't change the outline color of a polygon shape in ArcScene

Description

A polygon shape's outline color in the TOC or properties dialog cannot be changed. Changes made in the properties dialog are not honored in the TOC symbol legend.

Cause

This is a design limit. Settings for polygon outlines are ignored by ArcScene.

Solution or Workaround

Create another line shape and use it as the polygon outline.
