Error Message

ArcCatalog crashes with a Fatal Error when right-clicking a folder (or a folder connection) and selecting the Properties option.

Cause

This happens on a Window NT machine that has Peer Web Services (IIS Version 3.0) installed.

Solution or Workaround



Upgrade to Personal Web Server (IIS Version 4.0) by installing it from Windows NT Service Pack 4.0 or greater. Refer to the Microsoft Web site for more information on Personal Web Server and Windows NT service packs.
