Last Published: April 25, 2020

Summary

ArcView 3D Analyst extension requires a set of specific libraries on all UNIX platforms in order to properly display surface models, grids, and tins in a 3D Scene. This library set is known as OpenGL (Open Graphics Library).

Procedure

Make sure the libraries are properly installed. Each platform has a unique testing method. Refer to the platform's Web site for more details regarding how to test the libraries. You can find links to some operating system's Web sites on the 'ArcView 3D Analyst System Requirements' Web page (see Related Information).

Note:
If any of the required libraries have not been installed, or if the results of the tests reveal something was not properly configured, please contact your operating system's manufacturer for further assistance.
